If I'd been keeping up with my reader, I would've read this before I posted! :) I didn't go so far as to weed out searches that yield no result, though that's not a bad idea at all. What I have found, however, is that even the "bottom" of the top 500-1000 searches still has a count of 40-50 which seems to leave the no-result searches in the dust. Nice, Dave!
